Guidelines for Abstract Submission

Abstract content and format

  • The abstracts of the conference contributions can comprise a maximum of 2,500 characters (including spaces) and be written in German or English.
  • It is expected that the language, the title and the abstract are identical to the language of the presentation. Illustrations are not possible. When submitting online, the resulting layout of the abstract can be checked by the author.
  • Do not use the author's title or name in the body of the abstract.
  • In your abstract, please clearly formulate the research question, objective, methods used and conclusion of your work.
  • Abstract titles should be precise and direct.
  • Please avoid formatting if possible. The exact adoption of any formatting cannot be guaranteed.
  • Use standardized abbreviations.

Submission

  • Submit your abstract online. Abstracts submitted by e-mail, post or other means will not be accepted.
  • The congress languages are German and English.
  • Abstract submission is possible in German and English.
  • Changes and corrections will be accepted until the deadline on 7.1.25 (midnight, CET).
  • Please ensure that the abstract is can be cited.
  • For presenting authors of accepted abstracts, registration and participation in the congress is binding.

Notifications (e-mails)

  • Please note that only the submitting (corresponding) person will receive all notifications regarding the abstract. Therefore, make sure that emails from information@smart-abstract.com are not marked as spam by your email provider.
  • Submitting (corresponding) authors are responsible for informing all co-authors about the successful submission and about the acceptance or rejection as well as for forwarding instructions received for the presentation of the abstract to presenters.
