Studierende können Zuschüsse zu ihren Reisekosten bis maximal 200 € beantragen, falls sie ErstautorIn eines Beitrags sind und diesen auf der Tagung aktiv präsentieren. Ein formloser Antrag ist unter Angabe des Poster- oder Vortragstitels bis zum 4.1.2025 an die Tagungsleitung (dgg2025@rub.de) zu richten.

For the annual conference, free professional childcare will be provided for children aged 2 years and older. Please register as early as possible (not later than 10.1.2025) at dgg2025+Kinder@rub.de.

Free WLAN access will be permanently available during the DGG conference. Two connection options will be provided:

1. Ruhr-Universität Bochum is a member of the worldwide university eduroam network. All those who have eduroam access at their home institution can connect to the Internet with their standard user data. This is the simplest and preferred option.
   
2. For all others (or if there are login problems), Ruhr-Universität Bochum provides individual guest accesses. For this purpose, a personalized login slip with the access information will be distributed during registration on site.

Directly above the conference center is the main canteen (Mensa) of Ruhr-Universität Bochum as well as the vegan self-service restaurant “Rote Bete” and a coffee bar. On campus there is also the Q-West, which is also open in the evening, and several cafeterias (e.g. in the IB building). These facilities are also open to guests. Only card payment is possible. North of the Ruhr-Universität is the “UniCenter” shopping center with numerous stores and restaurants.

On the northern edge there are several bus stops and a stop of the U35 subway line. This connects the university with the city center. The journey time to the main train station is approx. 10 minutes.

For journeys within the city limits of Bochum, a ticket of price level A is required. Tickets can be purchased from ticket machines. Tickets can also be purchased from the driver on the buses (one-way tickets only). Of course, the DeutschlandTicket is also valid. Otherwise, we recommend multiple tickets (4 or 10 tickets (the latter only via the Bogestra or VRR public transport app)).

Parking for cars (height restriction 1.9m) is available in the parking garage P9 below the event center. The event center can be reached from there via elevators or external stairs. Access to parking garage P9 is via a numerical code. This will be announced here shortly before the conference. Larger vehicles can be parked in the parking lots along G-Südstraße.

The free conference program (without abstracts) will be handed out in printed form at the conference office upon registration. All abstracts are available on the conference website.
